With a few small changes you will probably get more responses to your request for help. Tips for a good question:
- Get a good title. A good title makes someone curious and shows a bit what the job is about. Instead of: "Help in the garden" for example "Green fingers wanted!". That sounds much nicer, right? And that's why more people will click on your question.
- Indicate when and how often you need help. If someone can immediately see from your question that it fits their week, it becomes easy for them to respond. Nobody likes to say 'yes' first and then 'no'. By being very clear in your question you avoid disappointment with you and the other.
- Tell something about yourself. Meeting someone via the internet is just as exciting for the volunteer as it is for you. That's why they want to know who you are.
- So put a photo on your profile. Users with a photo get messages faster.
Good luck finding your match!
